40 The College of New Jersey Magazine Who's in the photo? 1. Lauren Bsales '19, MAT '20 wed Chris Blakeley '19 on February 17, 2024. 2. Jacob '10 and Molly Martinez '10 welcomed daughter Zoe on March 2, 2023. Zoe joins big sister Lucy. 3. Kaley Stockhaus '17 wed Alexander Caronna '17 on June 7, 2024. Donna Aromando '83 won the 2024 Governor's Award for Volunteerism for her service to our military and veterans. Aromando spearheaded an annual fundraising event, the RV Devil Dash, which is a military-style obstacle course race. The dash has raised close to $250,000, with proceeds going primarily to the Pat Tillman Foundation. Aromando is an ambassador for A Write to Heal Foundation, which helps veterans who experience post-traumatic stress disorder. New Hampshire Magazine and the New Hampshire Nurses' Association presented Sharon Breidt '83 an Excellence in Nursing Award. Breidt, director of nursing at Keene State University, was honored as an unsung hero of the state's healthcare community. Linda Merritt '88, an associate professor of nursing at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, was inducted into the inaugural class of fellows of the Association of Women's Health, Obstetrics and Neonatal Nursing. Merritt developed a tool and completed a study to better understand the needs of fathers with babies in neonatal intensive care units. Khalilah Sabree '89 exhibited artwork at the Princeton University (New Jersey) Art Museum. The work, called Reciting Women, explores intersections between the artist's personal, cultural, and spiritual identity. '90s Doreen Marshall '94 is chief executive officer of the National Eating Disorder Association, a nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness and advancing the science and research about eating disorders. 2 1 3
