Shannon Leckie '18, MAT '19 wed Charles Spirgel '18, MAT '19 on August 19, 2023. '60s and '70s Sandra Goodman '65 volunteers for Cycle for Survival. Goodman's daughter, Jennifer, co-founded CFS in 2007 before her death from cancer. Since then, Goodman has raised almost $350 million for cancer research and more than a million people have participated in the annual cycling events. Daniel '74 and Patricia '74 Brettell celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 15, 2024. The couple met in 1971 on the first day of the spring semester of their freshman year. Edward Bullock '75 won the United Way's Eugene Marsh Community Impact Award for his commitment to mental health, veterans, and anti-racism. Bullock is president of the board of trustees of the Trenton Literacy Movement. More than 175 alumni of the choral program at Ridge High School in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, came together to play in a June 2024 reunion weekend concert to celebrate and honor Barbara Retzko '78. Retzko served as choral director for 40 years before retiring in 2020. '80s The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission reelected Aladar Komjathy '82 as chairman. Kathy Perri '82 was inducted into the Morristown (New Jersey) High School Athletic Hall of Fame for her leadership and accomplishments as director of athletics for the Morris School District. Perri recently started a second career as a realtor for O'Brien Realty in Long Branch, New Jersey. What's up? 4 1
