41 Class Notes FALL 2024 3 Marlaina Cockcroft '96 earned the Sydney Taylor Manuscript Award at the Association of Jewish Libraries Conference in San Diego for her middle-grade fantasy, Ava's Golem. The award recognizes unpublished manuscripts of Jewish fiction for children. Cockcroft also writes fantasy and horror short stories for adults. Kiplee Bell '97 is CEO and founder of Impactful Care, a mobile concierge and telehealth service dedicated to helping New Jersey and Pennsylvania communities. Taryn Rucinski '99 is the law library manager at the U.S. Court of International Trade, which has nationwide jurisdiction over civil actions arising from both U.S. customs and international trade laws. Additionally, Rucinski is a professional ballroom dancer who competes nationally and internationally performing the dance the Latin Hustle. Who's in the photo? 1. Jerel '10 and Cara Chacko '11 welcomed son Axel Jae on April 20, 2024. Axel joins siblings Archer and Avery. 2. Kyle Mullin '08 and Alexandra Prull '12 welcomed son John James on October 5, 2023. 3. Annie Montero '14 wed Dean Kullmann on May 26, 2024. 2 1 Michael Zalot '94 was awarded tenure and promoted to chair of business, management, and economics at Cedar Crest College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Jennifer Keyes-Maloney '95 is executive director of the New Jersey Association of State Colleges and Universities. Lisa Camooso Miller '95 produces "The Friday Reporter," a podcast based in Washington, D.C., that aims to help audiences better understand the media. The show has hosted more than 150 guests, mostly jour- nalists, and has nearly 50,000 downloads. Elaine Rocha '95 was appointed chair of the board of visitors of Seton Hall Law School in Newark, New Jersey.
