20 An Alternative Resolution As the national conversation around incidents of sexual misconduct continues to make headlines, TCNJ has been at the forefront of these issues in higher education. After soliciting feedback from students who reported incidents of sexual misconduct but did not wish to move forward with an investigation, Dean of Students and Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs Jordan Draper drafted an Alternate Resolution Policy for the college. In order to pursue an alternative resolution, both parties must agree on this option. The alternative resolution process allows for the reporter to be an integral member in developing educational components for the respondent and sharing their impact in a setting that they are most comfortable with. Draper said this meets the needs of students who want an option that communicates the harm without a formal process. Draper's work has been featured in The Chronicle of Higher Education, Vox, and in the BBC documentary "The Night in Question" hosted by Louis Theroux. STUDENT AFFAIRS AND ATHLETICS Food for Thought Meatless Mondays, vegan labels, and Silk dispensers sent TCNJ to the head of the class, receiving an "A" on PETA's Vegan Report Card. I N G R I D E . The SHOP @ TCNJ In February, TCNJ opened a no-questions- asked food pantry located in Campus Town. In recent years, the college has seen increasing requests from students to provide emergency aid to those struggling to eat consistently. National data further suggests that nearly 30–40 percent of college students have some level of food insecurity. Stocked by donations and a partnership with Mercer Street Friends Food Bank, The SHOP provides food to both our campus and the local community.
