12 Green Inspirations Engineering students spent two weeks across the pond examining forward-thinking sustainability efforts in Europe. They toured an eco-village and wind farm in Ireland and Portugal's Alqueva Dam for inspiration to further green innovation stateside. Industry Partners Partnerships with Colgate Palmolive and Tenna, Inc., match corporate needs with specific TCNJ faculty research laboratories for design, prototyping, and validation capabilities — making TCNJ engineering an ideal strategic partner for industry. Taking Stock Funded by a $168,000 grant from Tenna, Inc., a team of four students and three faculty members are developing prototype sensors that can be used to identify, monitor, and geo-locate temporary pieces of construction inventory like Jersey barriers and construction mats. ENGINEERING SCHOOL OF Recognizing Diversity The School of Engineering received the inaugural award from the American Society for Engineering Education's Diversity Recognition Program for its pledge to further increase the number of female engineering students. Women comprised 31 percent of 2018's graduating class, surpassing the national average of 21 percent.
