1 Call Campus Police (ext. 2345/9-1-1) immediately
2 Provide Campus Police with complete descrip on of subject
and reasons for suspicions
3 A empt to make note of direc on of travel, if person leaves
area
4 Do NOT approach the suspicious person

4 Campus Police/Administra on will ac vate appropriate
response procedures

1 Follow instruc ons of the hostage taker
2 Remain calm. Try to calm others if present
3 Treat the hostage taker as normally as possible
4 Ask permission; do not argue or make demands
5 Be respec ul towards the hostage taker
