27 WINTER 2026 On my first date with my wife, Megan Moriarty '08, I turned my dorm room into a restaurant. We were both community advisors in Cromwell Hall, and some of our residents helped me to cook dinner and attempt to bake a cake (with no success) in the dorm's kitchen. My life has been better every day since. — RYAN MORIARTY '08 We were both criminal justice majors and met in class. Dean Wyks '77 was the shy one, so I had to chase extra hard. Life is good. Lived together, worked together, loved together. — MICHELLE TOWN WYKS '77 Their daughter was watching and continued in their footsteps: a family finds love at tcnj three times David Uhrich '09 and I had an education class together. We ran into each other in The Library Café before class one morning and walked to class together. We went on our first date the next day. Now, we have three kids, and David and I are teachers at the same school. I was the third generation in my family to find love at TSC/TCNJ. — KARA WYKS UHRICH '09 EDITOR'S NOTE: The Wyks' love legacy started with Ruth Wyks, who married Clarence Graham '39. Ruth's brother, Joseph Wyks '39, had set them up. We lived on Travers 3 our first year. We got engaged on the lawn in front of the Towers 10 years later. — CHRISTINE BUBER '13 AND KEITH SALMERI '13 TORY ANNE: We became fast friends as nursing majors. We got engaged in front of Trenton Hall, which was the building associated with nursing. So lucky to have found my people at such a special place. It wasn't love at first sight for us because he was mad that I was an actress who was stage-managing him in an All College Theater production. But 25 years of marriage and 6 kids later, our TCNJ romance is going strong. — Jessica '98 and Bob '98 Corriveau
