Diane Balla '77 retired after 21 years of
teaching at the Governor Baxter School for
the Deaf in Falmouth, Maine, and 25 years
at the Lake Drive School in Mountain
Lakes, New Jersey. She completed the
Educational Interpreter Program, and
interpreted at after-school sports games,
fall dramas, and spring musicals.

Frank Szymkowski '84 is enjoying
retirement after a 30-year career as a Penn
State University–Abington maintenance
and operations manager.
Edward Hoag '85 retired after 35 years
as a public librarian in New Jersey.
Throughout his career, he had worked in
libraries in South Brunswick, Mercer, and
Somerset counties.
