Kelly Depsee '06 and her husband, Michael, welcomed son Alexander James on September 10, 2024. 3. Shaheen Mamawala '06 and David Kanter welcomed daughter Nirah Róisín on September 20, 2024. 3 2 1 Allison Buccola '07 released her second novel, The Ascent, published with Random House. The Ascent is about a woman who grew up in a reclusive cult and explores motherhood, identity, and what it means to be a survivor. Katie Couric Media recently recommended the book, and Goodreads included it in its "72 of Summer's Hottest New Mysteries and Thrillers" article. Lauren Kohout '08 wrote her third novel, 2 Wrongs Make a Left. Hillary Hewit Spadaccini '08 was selected as assistant county counsel for Monmouth County, New Jersey. '10s and '20s Sai Krishnaraya Doppalapudi '15 earned the Humanism in Medicine Award for residents and fellows from The Arnold P. Gold Foundation and the Urology Care Foundation. Doppalapudi (who goes by Dr. Krishna) recently finished a urology residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and is currently a robotics fellow at Hackensack (New Jersey) University Medical Center. Steven Rosen '18 is full-time head coach of the Jaspers baseball program at Manhattan University in the Bronx, New York, making him the youngest Division I head coach in the country. Sarah Sieg '18 received the 2024 Teacher of the Year award for Phillipsburg (New Jersey) Primary School. She was recognized for the achievement at a county luncheon. Skylar Darel '19 joined NBC Sports as a graphics producer for National Basketball Association coverage. Hailey Ruderman '21 is alumni engagement coordinator for The College of New Jersey. 2 3
