Finance major Michael Sateary applied early decision to TCNJ and his acceptance was deferred a couple of times. He was finally accepted to the Pathway Program, an on-ramp for nonmatriculated students who take a maximum of three classes their first semester. He nailed his first round of grades, but was disappointed to learn that the Dean's List honors required more credit hours than Pathway students were allowed to take. So he led (and won) the fight to change the policy. He fully matriculated and has made the Dean's List every semester since. From the start, they each established themselves as individuals, diving into Greek life and various clubs. Bria pursued an education degree, Daniella was a biology major, and Thomas studied business. None of them shared a class until the last semester when Thomas and Bria took an introductory bio class together. All along, they took comfort in knowing their siblings were nearby. Now, Daniella is headed to Kean University in the fall for her master's in physician assistant studies. Bria is applying to be a secondary English teacher and Thomas is a self-proclaimed "LinkedIn warrior" because of his frequent site visits as he searches for a position in the finance industry. They all agree that the family's beach house in Lavallette will be home base as they forge new directions. L to R: Daniella, Thomas, and Bria Mineo
