They are on their way to play in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics tournament in Kansas City. It was a big moment for TSC. Thanks for bringing back a happy memory. MAUREEN KENNEDY RUSNAK '67 This photo caught my attention because I recall seeing it in a file when I was TCNJ's sports information director from 1984 to 1992. Before the college took on NCAA Division III status, it was a member of the NAIA. The 1967 Lions men's basketball team traveled to the NAIA national championships, and it was the most successful era in the college's basketball history until the dawn of the Greg Grant era in the late 1980s. PETER MANETAS Karen Delinsky Goldwater '68 (the cheerleader on the right) was my Howell High School JV cheerleading advisor. I remember her constant energy as she helped us with cheers. I went on to follow in her footsteps, becoming a cheerleader for the TSC Lions. The football field and track we cheered on back then don't compare to the beautiful facilities that exist at TCNJ today, but we had the best of times anyway. SANDRA THOMPSON GASSNER '75 THROWBACK FUN My favorite part of the magazine is the old photos of student life on campus. We have many fond memories of Trenton State as students, and also from when my husband, Tony Ianiero '74, was an administrator in the '70s and early '80s.
