Nine of my TCNJ crew and I took our families to Playa del Carmen, Mexico. "The Crew" has known each other for 37 years and our bond has created a new bond among our children, affectionately known as "Crew 2." Such a wonderful vacation and blessing to have all of these beautiful people in my life. KIM DAVIES VILLANI '90, MA '00 ADD ME AS AN ADMIRER I smiled and shed a tear when reading the compliment to Professor Bill Hausdoerffer '36 (Talk Up, spring 2023). He'd be so proud to know that his math students still remember him. He lived for math. He was a family friend, and as a high school student I'd go to the Hausdoerffers' house for dinner. He would pose a math problem to me upon entering and I'd have the evening to come up with an answer. I always gave it a good try. He was a blessing and had a great sense of humor too. MELISSA McKOWN FIRST-CLASS ENGINEER Wei Tun Shih (In Memoriam, spring 2023) was a stalwart in the electrical/ electronics program at Trenton State in the mid '70s. He, along with Allen Katz and Alois Riederer, was a driving force to develop that curriculum in Armstrong Hall. Shih directed me to focus on five- volt circuitry engineering, which led me to a career at Texas Instruments. I believe I may have been the first Trenton State graduate to work there. FRANK P. LOCASCIO '75 TAKING FLIGHT Great story about the sister pilots ("Kindred spirit," spring 2023). Also, I was The Signal photographer covering Twenty One Pilots at The Rat when they first came to campus ("TCNJ's Band Slam," spring 2023). Imagine my surprise when they blew up shortly after.
