43 Class Notes WINTER 2022 '60s and '70s Richard Swanson '64, MA '65, professor emeritus at the University of Minnesota, published Foundations of Human Resource Development 3rd Edition with Berrett- Koehler Publishers. Arthur Schwartz '66, MA '72 retired from Mercer County Community College after 52 years in the math department. Michael Vavrek '66, a violin and orchestra teacher, retired from the Denville and Frank- lin Township (New Jersey) school systems. Joyce Jones '68 retired from Princeton High School after 51 years as a physical education teacher, coach, and peer group leader. In her honor, the school celebrated Joyce Jones Day on May 20. Robert Chiste '69 was appointed to MetOx Technologies' board of directors. MetOx is the leading innovator in high-temperature superconducting wire manufacturing. Aldonna Ambler '74 was awarded NJBIZ 's 2021 ICON Lifetime Achievement Award for her success as an industry leader and role model in her community. Edward Tyson '75 published the first of his Bio Warriors series, Survival. Brian Murphy '77 and Kelly Corrubia '01 joined Hall Booth Smith as partners.
