Tree of Joy
Taking inspiration from an artist she saw knitting a wrap
for a telephone pole in Philadelphia, Gwen Bernick '23
crocheted a sweater for a campus tree near Green Hall.
"I wanted to create something bright to bring joy to the
campus," she says. "And the rainbow is no accident; I hope
other queer people who see it feel like there's a community
here, visibly."
