4 The College of New Jersey Magazine LAST ISSUE HEY, I KNOW THAT GUY! Alumni donned their detective hats to help us fill in the blanks of this archived photo (below). They guessed names, knew what room it was in, and explained the equipment ("on the far right is a condenser head from a Beseler 45 photo enlarger"). We even heard from someone who was actually in the photo: I was thrilled to be featured in TCNJ Magazine. I am the guy with the rather large hair. This photo was in the graphic arts lab in Armstrong Hall and was taken in 1976 at the spring conference. (There was a fall conference too, but I didn't own that wacky sport coat until I was student teaching spring semester.) This was an opportunity to showcase each program and its wares at a large open house. It was well attended by the public and potential students, as well as people from industry in the area. At first, I thought the gentleman with the beard was Ralph Edelbach, but it turns out not to be him. The real Professor Edelbach let me know that this was another student at the conference. I include a recent photo; things change in 45 years, but the smile remains.
