ENCORE FOR CAMPUS SHOWS Jerry Seinfeld's show in 1990 was great (Up Front, Winter 2020). This was before Seinfeld became a television phenomenon. My friend, Rick Nagle '90, booked events and invited me backstage after the show to hang out. I ended up meeting Jerry on the loading dock. He was zinging the campus-events people because his car service hadn't arrived yet and it was getting late. I offered Jerry a ride to New York City and he seemed interested. But then his car arrived and Jerry drove away. I wonder what would have happened if I'd driven Jerry Seinfeld home in my MGB convertible? If the internet existed then, I could have had the first episode of College Kid Driving Comedians in My Car. CHRIS HIGGINS '90 Bob Dylan came to campus in 1964. His concert was in Packer Gym and he performed as a one-man act, complete with a harmonica around his neck. The bleachers were not very full to begin with, but after he began, uninterested students left en masse. I got his autograph after the show, though you would never really know it was him by the "BD" scrawl. RUTH HABERKERN HAMMELL '67 LOVE GETTING MY COPY OF TCNJ MAGAZINE!
