Wildwood's Daytona Inn and Suites owner John Donio '97 won Downtown New Jersey's 2019 Individual of Excellence award for his impact on downtown economic development in New Jersey. Donio has spearheaded the town's resurgence for more than a decade. Dave Gaynor '97 is managing director in advisory services of Crowe LLP, a public accounting, consulting, and technology firm. John Gayeski '98 and Dan Matthies '98 co-founded Advanta Health Solutions, a start-up healthcare company and app, that works with businesses to offer employees incentives for doing physical activity. Gayeski and Matthies are Phi Kappa Tau fraternity brothers. Carlos Torres '07, business development manager at Turner Construction Company in Somerset, New Jersey, was named a Rising Star at the 2019 NAIOP President's Awards. NAIOP is one of the largest commercial real estate organizations in North America. Kayleigh Kovonuk '08 owns Lifestyle Acupunc- ture of New Jersey. With locations in Augusta and Rockaway, Lifestyle specializes in pain, emotional treatment, and stroke rehabilitation. The practice also treats pediatric patients, a demographic often overlooked in the field. Brendan Scher '10 is an associate at Escalate Capital Partners in Austin, Texas. Kaitlyn Wojtowicz '10 is chapter director for New Leaders Council New Jersey, a program that trains millennials to run for office, manage campaigns, and create start-ups. Angela Cleveland MEd '11 has written a children's book, Coding Capers: Luci and the Missing Robot. Jennifer Frederick '13 earned her doctorate in psychology and women's studies from the University of Michigan. She works as a senior survey analyst at Ithaka S+R in New York City. Chief of Staff for New York City's Office of Legislative Affairs Maidel De La Cruz '14 is a 2019 City & State 40 Under 40 Rising Star. The Office of Legislative Affairs reports to Mayor Bill de Blasio. Jennifer Wrinkler '16 joined Riker Danzig in Morristown, New Jersey, as a fall associate in the products liability, toxic tort, and mass tort group. Univision New York interviewed Anasofia Trelles '18 about affordable housing and educational support for students in temporary housing. Gina Bernardo '19 is an account administrator for RT Specialty in the company's national environmental and construction professional liability practice.
