Dorothy Miele '66 retired as curator of the African Studies Collection at Yale University. Eugene Cioffi '73 received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award presented by Marquis Who's Who. Aldonna Ambler '74 received a lifetime achieve- ment award from the Institute of Management Consultants. President of Hammonton, New Jersey-based AMBLER Growth Strategy Consul- tants, Ambler guides the growth of service firms, technology-driven businesses, and construction- related products and services worldwide. Peter Kernast '76 celebrated 30 years of programming on WTSR in November. He began at the station in the late 1980s, playing a variety of music, including progressive rock, and then created "Legacy," a show focusing on folk and alternative music. Steven Nemeth '79 retired from a 35 year career teaching high school English. He now performs as a guitarist/singer and also plays bass in a contemporary folk mass choir. New Jersey's Senate and General Assembly honored William Plank '79 with a proclamation for his installation of the Student Senior Art Show at the Lawrence Branch of the Mercer County Library in August. '80s and '90s Neil Boumpani '80, MA '81 and Lea Landolfi '81, MEd '83 co-authored Sing It, Dance It, Play It, Learn It, a book of songs that teach life lessons to young children. Jeffrey Wiecek '80 is chief financial officer and managing director of Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home in Bronx, New York. The New Jersey Governor's Educator of the Year program named seventh-grade special education teacher Therese Squicciarini '83 the Hunterdon County Teacher of the Year 2019–20. She teaches at Flemington's J.P. Case Middle School. Nancy Stafford '87 holds two leadership positions within the American Bar Association. She is vice chair of its international section as well as chair of its Center for Human Rights advisory council. Dori Alvich '93, MEd '04 is superintendent of the Monroe Township (New Jersey) School District. She has worked in the district for 15 years. Tibbetts, named one of Fast Company's Most Creative People in Business, is CEO and founder of She's the First, an international nonprofit that educates girls. Silk is a shareholder at Stark and Stark and co-chaired TCNJ's first comprehensive campaign, which raised nearly $50 million.
