45 FALL 2019 Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Business honored Jigna Rao '14 as a woman of achieve- ment. Rao is the director of the Center for Continuing Studies at Mercer County Community College. Amy Reynolds '14 is assistant director of communications and marketing at Tower Hill School, an independent school in Wilmington, Delaware. Jessica Bocanegra '15 won the 2019 University of Vermont Graduate Student Senate's Thomas Sullivan Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant of the Year award. John Turi '15 was elected to the Board of Fire Commissioners of Marlboro (New Jersey) District 3 in February. Nicole deQuintal '16 graduated cum laude from Montclair State University with a master's in business administration. She was also promoted to senior flavor sales analyst at Takasago International Corporation. Kristen Capano '18 received the third-place Alumni Award at the 2019 Sigma Tau Delta International Convention in St. Louis for her paper, "Fanny in the Attic: Austen Defies Femininity." Omana Douce-McDermott '18 serves as a health volunteer in Guyana through the Peace Corps. Ryan Laux '17, Chris Lundy '17, Lisa Palacio '17, Brett Celenze '16, Chris Ferrante '18, and Melissa Grillo '17 reunited on a mountain while hiking through the Chautauqua Trail in Boulder, Colorado. Grillo works in Boulder at the National Ecological Observatory Network. Chris Blakeley '19 secured a gig at WSP USA as an assistant design engineer working on roadway- related projects in Pennsylvania and across the country. Surbhi Chawla '19 began a master's degree in integrated marketing communications at North- western University in Evanston, Illinois. Jessica DeCord '19 headed to Philadelphia's Jefferson University Hospital as an ICU nurse. Geena Elghossain '19 is a systems engineer at Lockheed Martin. Brittany Hulber '19 is at New York Law School on a full scholarship. Emily Kazenmayer '19 jetted to the West Coast to work in Amazon's Seattle headquarters. Tyler Law '19 is a freelance production assistant with SyFy Wire, a Syfy website that covers news in the science fiction, horror, and fantasy genres. Emilee McGilligan '19 teaches second grade at the Bronx Charter School for Children and started her master's at Relay Graduate School for Education. Ryan Moore '19 walked at TCNJ's 2019 commencement ceremonies. He had been seriously injured in a car accident near campus in December 2018. Terry Schuh '19 landed an internship with NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. Namal Seneviratne '19 was selected as a 2019 Phi Kappa Phi Fellow, earning $8,500 to attend Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Nicole Shatsky '19 started her doctorate at Columbia University in physical therapy. Sarah Sleiman '19 started as a success specialist with Amplicare in New York — and will continue to work on her business startup, Code the Future. Jackie Van Daalen '19 teaches eighth-grade math at Eisenhower Middle School in Wyckoff, New Jersey. Anna Zauner '19 checked "join the Peace Corps" off her bucket list and headed to Guatemala to serve as a youth in development volunteer for the next two years. "From a young age, I had always wanted to help people from other countries," Zauner says. And our newest alumni … Moore with his family on Quimby's Prairie during Commencement 2019.
