29 PLANNED GIVING 18-19-20 CAPSTONE CAMPAIGN In September, TCNJ embarked on a yearlong fundraising effort in tribute to the historic presidency of R. Barbara Gitenstein. The effort was dubbed 18.19.20 as a nod to its academic year 2018 time frame, the 19-plus years of Gitenstein's tenure, and the desire to further strengthen the college for 2020 and beyond. The campaign raised $8,192,939 from over 4,400 donors, exceeding its initial goal of $7 million. 12 challenge gifts unlocked 53 percentage of alumni donors 66 percentage of gifts made online 1,471 number of donors BY THE NUMBERS TOTAL RAISED $ 289,937 Bruce Brown and his wife, Vivian Bell-Brown, of Mission Viejo, California, established the Bruce Brown '77 and Vivian Bell- Brown '78 Endowed Scholarship.
