Allen Silk was elected to serve as chair of the executive board, replacing outgoing chair Jim Gater '71, '80. Silk, a shareholder in the law firm of Stark & Stark, is a long-standing member of the foundation board and a longtime supporter of TCNJ. As past board treasurer and chair of the investment committee, he was responsible for overseeing much of the growth of the college's endowment. "My longtime affiliation with the TCNJ Foundation is because I believe so strongly in its mission and its demonstrated ability to help give young people such a strong start to their academic careers," says Silk. "I'm honored to serve as chair of the foundation board." Most recently, he co-chaired e Campaign for TCNJ, the college's first comprehensive campaign, which concluded on June 30, 2017. "Allen exemplifies outstanding volunteer leadership," says John P. Donohue, executive director of the foundation and vice president for college advancement. "We're excited and grateful to have his guidance over the next several years." e new executive team also includes Vice Chair Kimberly Brandley '90, CPA and partner in CohnReznick's Not-for-Profit Industry Practice.
