Stories from the stacks
Libraries are packed with stories, and these alumni tell theirs — whether from the college's
original Roscoe L. West Library or the current one, built in 2005.
Book of love
Ever since graduation, Dan Balevski '14 and I often found excuses to visit TCNJ, where we first met. So when he asked me to come see
his cousin on campus, I agreed. We stopped in the library's children's book section, where, as an education major, I had spent much time.
"There's a book here you should have in your class," said Dan, who pulled it off the shelf and started to read a story about love. Then he
turned and asked: "Liane, will you marry me?" —LIANE LIBRIZZI '14 (Dan and Liane are getting married July 1.)
