43 Arch Liston '92 is city manager for Johnstown, Pennsylvania, after being unanimously approved by the city council. Michael McDermott '92 was promoted to chief customer service officer for Lowe's at its headquarters in Mooresville, North Carolina. Laura Brooke '93 joined Pearson Koutcher Law, a firm specializing in worker's compen- sation. Laura will expand its practice into New Jersey and will champion the rights of injured workers in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Jill Cosse-Minnella '93 received the prestigious National Girls and Women in Sports High School Honor Award from the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association. Jill is the head field hockey and girls' lacrosse coach for West Essex (New Jersey) High School, where the teams have won 14 state championship titles since 1998. Chelsea Dixon MAT '93 was honored at the 43rd Annual Trenton Select Committee dinner recognizing prominent men and women who have left a mark on sports history in Mercer County, New Jersey. Erik Simonsen '93 is the newly sworn-in mayor of Lower Township, New Jersey. Cathy Padilla '94 released a contemporary romance novel, A Taste for Love, that is set in Holmdel, New Jersey, and highlights the beauty of Monmouth County. Debra M. Polglaze Lightner '94 is senior vice president and chief compliance officer at EmblemHealth Inc., where she is respon- sible for corporate compliance, privacy, and special investigations of healthcare fraud. She joined EmblemHealth after 13 years with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. Scott Rocco '94, MEd '99 will become superintendent of the Hamilton Township (New Jersey) School District. He had been superintendent of the Spotswood (New Jersey) School District. John Woznicki MA '94 was elected to the Lambertville Area Education Foundation, a volunteer-run organization dedicated to benefiting students attending schools in the South Hunterdon (New Jersey) regional district. Christene DeDeo Willits '95, MAT '03 has been named Lenape (New Jersey) High School's Teacher of the Year. Christene began her career in 2004 at Lenape and developed a new program for students with autism. Carolyn Lemke Fraser '96 is the new vice president of relationship management for Ascensus, the nation's largest independent retirement plan and college savings service provider. Paul McCracken '96 was appointed by ICON as vice president of medical imaging. ICON is a global provider of drug development solutions and services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries. Keira Hauck '97 is pleased to announce the opening of her psychotherapy private practice, Path for Change Counseling LLC, in Montclair, New Jersey. Keira has worked in the nonprofit sector for over 16 years, specializing in working with preschool-aged children. Shannon Stroz Sharkey '98, MA '00 was hired as supervisor of special education by the Warren Township (New Jersey) Schools. Kelli Turner MA '98 was honored with the 2016 Governor's Educator of the Year award. Kelli is a speech therapist serving the elementary and middle schools in the Dennis Township (New Jersey) School District. Kelli is also chair of the Dennis Township Education Association PRIDE Committee and a member of the Dennis Township Municipal Alliance Committee. Jennifer Avenoso Krahling '99 was promoted to partnership with CohnReznick LLP. Gayatri Rao '99, director of the FDA's Office of Orphan Products Development, was featured on National Public Radio in the story "Drugs for Rare Diseases Have Become Uncommonly Rich Monopolies." '00s and '10s Melissa Cavins '01, MEd '05 is the new assistant principal of Cresskill (New Jersey) Middle/High School. Michael Zechman '01 was inducted into the South Jersey Wrestling Hall of Fame. Christina Holmes '02. has written Ecological Borderlands: Body, Nature and Spirit in Chicana Feminism (University of Illinois Press). Christina is an assistant professor of women's gender and sexuality studies at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. Lynn DeClemente Losavio '02, collection manager of The Seward Johnson Atelier, curated the May 2017 opening of That's Worth Celebrating: The Life and Work of the Johnson Family in the Cecelia Joyce and Seward Johnson Gallery at Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, New Jersey.
