T E S T I N G H I G H L I G H T S
As a student enrolling at The College of New Jersey, you may be required to take
some placement tests or meet departmental assessments to ensure appropriate
course placement in first year courses that will match your knowledge and skills.
Please familiarize yourself thoroughly with the information on placement test and
assessment requirements in this booklet.
Please Note: You will not be able to log in to the pertinent placement and
assessment exams until your admissions deposit has been processed. Please submit
the admission deposit as directed in the Admissions
letter as soon as possible.
The Language Placement Test in French, German, Italian and Spanish should be
taken from your home computer or other remote computer locale beginning
May 22, 2017, through June 9, 2017.

The Writing Placement Test will be accessed through Canvas Writing Placement
space and will be open from May 22, 2017, through
June 9, 2017.
