46 FALL 2016 46 FALL 2016 Horacio Oliveira '02 graduated in May with a Master of Arts in International Affairs from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Horacio was also named program manager at Funders Concerned About AIDS. In May, Melissa Kennedy Owen '04 earned a PhD in philosophy from Rush University in Chicago. Her dissertation is titled An Investigation of Palliative Care in Patients Awaiting Heart Transplantation Utilizing Kolcaba's Theory of Comfort. An associate of the Bridgewater, New Jersey–based law firm Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, Candice Huber Rienzo '05 has been named a New Jersey Rising Star in 2016 by Super Lawyers magazine. The list honors lawyers age 40 and under who have been practicing law for fewer than 10 years. Darrell Armstrong EdS '06 has been named chief administrative officer of the Baptist World Alliance at the United Nations. A BWA representative to the U.N. since 2013, Darrell will supervise the alliance's team in New York, Geneva, and Vienna. He is also pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church in Trenton, New Jersey. Jessica Smedley EdS '07 is the director of guidance for the Hillsborough (New Jersey) Township school district. Women's eNews has placed Tammy Tibbetts '07 on its 21 Leaders for the 21st Century list for her activism on behalf of women's rights. Tibbetts is co-founder of She's the First, a nonprofit that gives girls scholarships in low-income countries so they can finish high school. Stephen Feinberg '10 rejoined JLL as vice president in the New York metro capital markets group in June. The team focuses on investment sales of commercial properties in the tri-state area. Lisa Malloy '10 has returned to her alma mater, New Egypt (New Jersey) High School, as the field hockey coach. Lisa is also teaching art at New Egypt Middle School. Robert Moran '11 is the champion of the 35th annual Cape May (NJ) SuperAthalon, a run-row-swim triathalon. Robert posted a time of 45 minutes, 7 seconds, to win by more than a minute. Anthony Osbourne '11 has joined the law firm of Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. as an associate in their Woodbridge, New Jersey, office. Anthony focuses his practice on banking and financial services, representing commercial lenders and borrowers in commercial financing transactions. Daniel Zampini '11 released his debut novel, After It Rains with Fireborn Publishing in June. Set along the Jersey Shore in the days immediately following Hurri- cane Sandy, the book covers the resurgent East Coast heroin epi- demic from both sides of the law. Derick Hughes '13 and Michael Wasyl '13 have launched WheyClean, the cleaning solution for shaker bottles and other reusable containers. Darius Griffin Jr. '15 is now the coach of Bishop Ahr boys' basketball team at Bishop George Ahr (Edison, New Jersey) High School. Darius had been an assistant coach for the Trojans.
