Above: The reimagined Brower Student Center
(shown here from the back) adds 16,000 square
feet to the existing 1975 building. It will house a
new event facility, a terrace facing the football
field, and enough second-floor space to house
all student organizations. Traditions, a restaurant
and performance space, is already open.

Left: The cross-disciplinary, 89,000-square-foot
STEM Building rising on the site of the former
Holman Hall, between Forcina Hall and the Biology
Building, will increase lab and classroom space for
biomedical engineering, computer science, and
mechanical engineering by 60 percent.
Seamlessly connecting the STEM Building
and the Biology Building will be the Forum,
a glassed-in, campus-wide "living room" fronting
Quimby's Prairie, transforming the latter into the
college's main outdoor ceremonial space. The
new umbrella name of the entire suite of math,
science, and engineering buildings will be the
STEM Complex.

Chemistry Addition backs up to Metzger Drive.
An archway (bottom right of photo) links the
addition to the Biology Building and gives the
Science Courtyard access to Lake Ceva.
