Lucas, retired staff Miroslav "Mike" Martinovic, associate professor of computer science IN MEMORIAM Balvir Singh '07 started his first term as an elected member of the Board of Education for Burlington Township (New Jersey) Schools on January 7. He is a high school mathematics teacher at Burlington City High School and also teaches part time at Burlington County College. He currently is pursuing a PhD at Rutgers University. Nicholas J. Dimakos '08 was elected to the Board of Trustees of the Resource Center of Somerset, Inc. Ariel Donohue '08 won the President's Commission on the Status of University Women Award. Ariel is the program manager of Montana State University's Diversity Awareness Office. Caryn Feder '08 is currently directing The Rockin' Jazz Band, an ensemble of the New Jersey Workshop for the Arts. Robert Keyes '08 was promoted to assistant treasurer, portfolio manager for the Commercial Lending Team at Lakeland Bank. Sara Landau '08 is a high school health and physical education teacher at the Foundation Academies schools in Trenton, New Jersey. Thomas Carter Galton '09 currently is the director of speechwriting and correspon- dence for the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation in New York, a nonprofit that supports programs in areas such as global health and climate change. Steve Holroyd '09 was hired as an associate manager for The Siegfried Group LLP. 2010s Michael Darbee '10 has joined Laddey Clark & Ryan LLP, of Sparta, New Jersey, as an attorney in the Employment Law and Estates Practice Groups. Michael graduated summa cum laude from Widener University School of Law in 2014, and is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Danielle Partenope Plagge '10 is directing the The New Jersey Workshop for the Arts Flute Ensemble, the Fluteketeers. She will also be leading them as they attend the National Flute Association Convention in August. Elisabeth Rich Pope MAT '10 is a middle school seventh-grade writing teacher and instructional dean at the Foundation Academies schools in Trenton, New Jersey. Andrew Ross '10 was named the Egg Harbor City, New Jersey, school district's Teacher of the Year for his work as a sixth- through eighth-grade science teacher at Egg Harbor City Community School. Christoph Schoenbeck '10 was named the manager of operations for Major League Soccer headquarters in New York City. MLS has 20 member clubs throughout the United States and Canada. Johanna Soto '10 is the associate director of operations at the Foundation Academies schools in Trenton, New Jersey. Adrianna Botti '12 founded the Little Words Project, a bracelet company, in 2013. The company aims to spread positivity in the form of simple, little words among women around the nation. Cynthia Cardona '12 is a founding intermediate school teacher at the Foundation Academies schools in Trenton, New Jersey. Maryan Escarfullett '12 received her Master of Arts in international studies at the Johns Hopkins-Nanjing Center for Chinese and American Studies. She works for Pricewaterhouse- Coopers in its advisory and forensic services department. Matt Erickson '14 opened the first franchise of Duck Donuts in New Jersey in Middletown. Joanna German '14 is a health and physical education teacher at the Foundation Academies schools in Trenton, New Jersey. Kaitlyn Haley '14 was named the 2014 Delaware River Yachtsmen's League Queen's Pageant chairperson. The pageant helps females ages 16 to 21 in the boating community build self-confidence and public speaking skills. Ramu Indrasimhan MEd '14 currently is teaching in Jakarta, Indonesia, and is gaining notice for using Minecraft in his classroom lessons. Scott Kelly '14 plays for the Somerset Patriots baseball team. Michael Krauszer '14 is pursuing his Master of Arts in theological studies from Veritas Evangelical Seminary. A freelance writer, he is the founder of ChristianLitReview.com, a website that provides a Christian perspective on all forms of literature. Catherine Mitchko '14 is a founding kindergarten teacher at the Foundation Academies schools in Trenton, New Jersey. Leah Scully '14 joined Penton's Design Engineering & Sourcing group in the machine design department. Leah will be specifically working in the company's hydraulics and pneumatics and global pur- chasing brands. Ryan Snops '14 is working at Bloomberg LP in Skillman, New Jersey.
