THE COLLEGE OF NEW JERSEY Graphic Identity Standards Guide | 4 BASIC ELEMENTS Institutional logos The college logotype There are two components that make up the college logotype: the shield graphic and the wordmark (which is the distinct, text-only typographic treatment of the college's acronym and name). Download a logo. HORIZONTAL LOGO The college logotype is the primary element of the college's visual identity system and is most commonly referred to as our "logo." The logo arrangements shown below are the only acceptable versions of the shield combined with the college's initials and its full name. An institutional logo must appear on all official communications and may not be modified in any way. The college logo uses the official TCNJ Blue and TCNJ Gold as well as the primary fonts. LOGO ORIENTATION VARIATIONS The logo has several orientation options. The size specifications of a project will typically determine which option works best. For example, the horizontal logo will work best in a horizontal rectangular space; the vertical logo will work best in a vertical rectangular space, and the compact logo works best in a square space.
