Adam Cunard got hooked on combat robotics
as a middle schooler when he first watched
Robot Wars. Now he builds small, remote-
controlled robots and battles them on the national
circuit. About to be a STEM teacher, Cunard sees
battle bots as a way to excite students with
hands-on math and science learning.
