2 The College of New Jersey Magazine THREE IS NOT A CROWD I was fortunate to meet some remarkable people as an undergraduate and graduate student at TSC. In each program, I became a part of an enduring trio of friends ("The one with all the friends," spring 2024). TALK UP As undergraduates, Diane White '85, Diane Witkowsky Mann '86, and I (right, top) were inseparable. We were all accounting majors, transfer students, and commuters. We still talk about Enrique Menocal's Cost Accounting I and II classes and wonder how we survived them. A few years later, I met Terri King '92 and Jim Hewins '92 (right, bottom). We lived through education classes, student teaching, and the infamous Summer Seminar, where we basically ran a summer enrichment camp for middle school students on campus. Now I am back at TCNJ as an adjunct faculty member in the School of Business. When I tell my current students that they will make lifelong friends here, it's really true. MARK TARALLO '85, MAT '92 THIS STORY WAS REAL Thanks, TCNJ Magazine. All of my favorite things came together in this article ("An AI evolutionary," fall 2024): my work at Google and the incredible opportunities AI is bringing to business, my love of The College of New Jersey, and a photo shoot in New York City. ALYSSA CORI '17 "An AI evolutionary" (fall 2024) resonated deeply with me. I am a software engineer at iCIMS, an HR-technology company and we've been heavily involved in the AI space, integrating solutions into the hiring process to enhance both recruiter and candidate experiences. TIM KRAJEWSKI '17 FACULTY TRIBUTE I recently learned of the passing of Art Chilakos, professor of health and physical education. When I take the time to reflect on those who have had a major impact on my life, those thoughts often go to a teacher or a coach. I was fortunate because Art was both for me: a professor and an assistant baseball coach on Roger Rada's staff. He was the consummate professional whose passion for his craft was evident. I tried to emulate his virtues whenever I was in front of a classroom or on the baseball field. I am a better man because of Art. CHET SNOOK '73 " I AM HONORED TO HAVE GRADUATED FROM TCNJ. NO DEBT AND A TON OF GRATITUDE FOR A QUALITY EDUCATION AND BEAUTIFUL CAMPUS WITH PROFESSORS WHO WERE ALWAYS AVAILABLE. DEEPLY THANKFUL. " — JENNIFER CURTIS '89
