Among the almost 350 transfers, four of them are over 50 years old. 4. A mental load TCNJ received $4.25 million in grants to launch an online master's program in mental health counseling. Thanks to the funders, The Tepper Foundation and Accelerate the Future, the pro- gram addresses the shortage of professionals in the field and will help diversify the workforce. 5. Hey, look again! Students in professor Christopher Ault's interactive exhibit design course created an augmented reality experience for public art in New Hope, PA. Passersby used their cell phones to scan QR codes near specific sculptures and reveal digital media such as 2D illustrations and ambient sound, as well as information about the art and artist. 6. Pulling rank The Princeton Review designated TCNJ as one of its Best Value Colleges for 2024. 7. Class act Cheers to Margarita Diakos '12, MAT '13, a special education teacher at Ramsey High School, and Jill Falletta '01, a first grade teacher at Beach Haven School, who were each crowned their county's Teacher of the Year by the New Jersey Department of Education. 8. Anthropology professor George Leader had a cool summer experience — he and a friend trekked across the Namib Desert to conduct archaeological research and to better understand the area.
