LIKE NO TIME HAS PASSED
Joan Van Emburgh Deichmann '60
and Margaret Wagner Bertucco '60
reunited at Deichmann's home in
Mt. Bethel, Pennsylvania. The pair
enjoyed a meal and a canoe paddle
together, and, of course, fond memories
of their fellow TCNJ classmates.
TALK UP
A PLUG FOR COLLEGE
Your story about professors Tom
Arndt and Paul D'Angelo is civic course
material ("Believe it or not," winter
2024). They are putting their fingers
in the dike holding back the deluge of
misinformation and conspiracy scams
that are so prevalent today. Plaudits to
two reality-grounded gentlemen who
are serving as guidance counselors for
the new generations of students. They
are defending the reason for college:
to learn analysis, reasoning, and truth.
May their tribe increase.

EYE FOR DESIGN
I wanted to compliment you on the
attractiveness of TCNJ Magazine. It is
beautifully laid out, with just the right
proportion of text, photos, and white
space. And it is interesting to read to
boot. It's much more enticing than
the one I get from my undergraduate
college, which I rarely read.
