43 Class Notes FALL 2023 TCNJ LEGACY Clubs and orgs help students find their people. But it helps to have parents show the way, too. I am thrilled that my three children all chose TCNJ. While many things have changed since I graduated, its people and programs remain committed to excellence. Our Trenton State/TCNJ education equipped us all with the tools to pursue our passions and served as a springboard that launched us into a world of possibilities. All of my children were Bonner Community Scholars. They completed hundreds of hours of community service and gained a profound sense of fulfillment and purpose by actively contributing to the betterment of their community. They developed empathy and leadership skills and were inspired to continue making a positive impact in the world. — Diane Bagley-Thompson '92 L to R: Diane Bagley-Thompson '92, Scott Robb '18, Alex Robb '21, and Kelly Robb '23 L to R: Matt '90, Lauren '23, and Michele '90 Wright Both my husband and l were Greeks at TCNJ. I was an Alpha Sigma Alpha and Matt '90 was a Phi Kappa Tau. It helped us meet new people who would become lifelong friends. My daughter, Lauren '23, was initially opposed to going to TCNJ because, as alums, we really wanted her to go there. She reluctantly agreed to go, but we were thrilled because we knew it would be a good fit for her. I was actually shocked when she said she was going to rush. I think once she joined Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity and Delta Phi Epsilon sorority she found her people. I love that we have a shared experience like this. — Michele Wright '90 To show pride in your legacy family, send photos and notes to alumni.tcnj.edu/class-note and choose the legacy option.
