BOCA RATON, FL ESTERO, FL WASHINGTON, D.C. And don't miss our SUMMER BEACH BASH in Lake Como, NJ. TCNJ LEGACY No rivalry here. These little siblings followed in their big sibs' footsteps and chose TCNJ. L to R: Erica '22 and Jessica '15 Bocanegra When my sister told me she was going to TCNJ, I was over the moon. I was excited for her to follow in my footsteps. Like me, she majored in chemistry and joined Kappa Delta sorority. TCNJ shaped our lives in such positive ways — from academics to life lessons — and it's something we will always have in common. — Jessica Bocanegra '15 As first generation/EOF college students, higher education didn't always seem possible. But TCNJ sparked fires within us to help us knock down barriers. — Nicole (Nagle) Panaro '10, MA '12 L to R: Nicole (Nagle) Panaro '10, MA '12, Shelby Nagle '19, and Danielle Nagle '16 For 13 straight years, at least one Nagle sister was at TCNJ. My youngest sister graduated in 2019, and it's sad to think that the college is Nagle-less now. L to R: Michael '24 and Matthew '25 Pedowitz I was thrilled when Matthew chose to attend TCNJ, though I'm pretty sure he was set on attending the college before I was. My freshman year was virtual because of the pandemic, so when he started the following year, we faced the freshman experience in person together. We're routinely mistaken as twins, and since we're not social butterflies, we spend a lot of time together. Matthew has even attended every one of my planetarium shows — though that may be because I'm his ride home on weekends. — Michael Pedowitz '24 To show your pride in your legacy family, send photos and notes to alumni.tcnj.edu/class-note and choose the legacy option. Class notes and Family Album photos are available only in the print edition. To submit your news and photos, visit alumni.tcnj.edu or write us at alumni@tcnj.edu.
