SPRING 2022
Hats off to Ashwin Narra '23, Miles Jean-Louis '25, and RJ Ruff '14, our winter 2022 quiz winners.
Sizing up campus
In our winter 2022 issue, we challenged readers to measure some iconic campus spots. It's an assignment Manuel
Figueroa, chair of Integrated STEM Education, gives his students in his Engineering Math for Educators class,
which aims to help future teachers learn how to present STEM content in K–12 classrooms. Here's the answer
key for those who took the quiz:
• The overhead lights in Lions Stadium are 95 feet high.
• The pixels are 75 times larger than a marble.
• Green Hall from the ground floor to the top of spire is 105 feet high.
