Out of this world Anthony Lau, professor of biomedical engineering, takes his research to the next level with a $150,000 grant from NASA. Lau and a team of students will study the effects of radiation on bone health. A brush with fame When Time and Nickelodeon teamed up for the first-ever Kid of the Year show, they commissioned Mia Tomasino '23 to create portraits of the young finalists. Tomasino's paintings were displayed on set behind host Trevor Noah when the show aired in December 2020. 1 Hoop dreams TCNJ basketball star Randall Walko '20 turned pro in January, playing for the ASEAN league's Formosa Taishin Dreamers in Taiwan. 3 2 Lions on TV English professor David Blake appeared on the season 2 finale of CNN's Race for the White House, which explored the 1952 presidential race. And Board of Trustees member and founder of She's the First, Tammy Tibbetts '07, was featured on The Drew Barrymore Show in a segment that honored women-led nonprofits. 4
