Schroeder '93 Faculty Peter A. Winkel, professor of modern languages emeritus Robert Donald Wright, professor of educational administration and secondary education emeritus In Memoriam Jonathan Elliot '04 (1982–2020) Playwright JOHN, A GIFTED STORYTELLER, loved to joke that when we first met, I was already sitting on his lap. He'd pause to take in his listeners' confused looks, then explain that for several years he served as TCNJ's Santa Claus during the holiday festivities. I don't remember what I wished for from him, but what I received was a Polaroid photo and a friendship that I will treasure forever. Despite the health challenges that John encountered in his life, he never failed to champion the people he loved. He recognized talent and encouraged others to be the best version of themselves. As a playwright and disabilities advocate, he's impacted more lives than his age would suggest. I am certain that John would want everyone to live by the two simple words that became his mantra, "More life." — Jon Bulava '05 Remembrance TC N J F U N D Sixth Annual Day of Giving March 25 For details, visit dayofgiving.tcnj.edu 2021 April 23–24 More to come soon.
