13 Tuition Payment Plan The Cash Net tuition payment plan is the only payment plan offered by The College of New Jersey. It allows you to pay your semester charges for tuition, fees, and room and board in installments. Tuition Payment Plan Features • Pay for your bill in monthly installments • Minimal enrollment fee • No interest charged (this is not a loan) • No credit check or co-signer needed • Flexibility to adjust the payment plan as needed throughout the semester • Monthly payments due on the 25th of every month Semester Installment Plan • Six monthly payments, due on the 25th of each month • $25 enrollment fee (subject to change) • Fall semester plan runs from July 25 to December 25 • Spring semester plan runs from January 25 to June 25 Enrollment Timeline Early July 2020: Enrollment is available online. Late July 2020: The fall semester bill will be available on PAWS. Students will be notified of the bill via an email notification to their TCNJ email account. Please review the bill and sign up for the payment plan (if applicable). July 25, 2020: First payment due date. Students enrolling late in the plan will not be required to make up missed payments. Instead, their plan will start with the month in which they enroll. Their plan will proceed for the remaining months, and the additional balance due will be backloaded to the end of the semester. For example: A student enrolls in August; there are five payments remaining for fall and six payments for the spring. The bill is for $12,000, requiring a monthly payment of $1,000 for 12 months. The payment plan is set up for $5,000 for the fall and $6,000 for the spring, a late fine waiver is applied for the $1,000 shortage, and the student is permitted an extra month after the full-year payment plan contract expires to pay the balance (payment by July 2021 instead of June).
