A little throwback, a little quirky, and
with some "Don't I look fine!" in the mix,
TCNJ style is refreshingly spirited in 2019.
on a typical day, hundreds,
perhaps thousands, of our under-
graduates don blue and gold TCNJ
sweatshirts or tees — thanks for the
branding, people.
But here we've opted to capture
everything else they're capable of.
Take Jimmy McAteer '19,
facing page. Houndstooth trench on
top and Diadora RF7000 "Primo"
sneakers below. Dress up and dress
down at the same time? Yes, there's
no need to choose. Like the latest
hits featuring multiple artists, his
shoes are a collaboration between
Diadora of Italy and the owner of
the hip NYC brand Kith. You've got
a curated eye, Mr. McAteer.
Tyler Hubbert '19, facing page,
bottom, opts for stalwart black
leather and a simple patch that
reads Feminist. "The jacket is my
mother's. I attached the patch with
pins to give it a little something
extra," she says. "It's paying homage
to all the brazen women whose
sacrifices have allowed me to live
as unapologetically as I do." As
you'll see in the pages that follow,
2019 fashion speaks loud and clear.
