Travel to Ireland and Portugal for a summer study program in sustainability. Students examine best practices in energy production, waste management, water treatment, and government policy. On the move Where we thrive The new STEM Building and Armstrong Hall are where engineering students build their skills. STEM has the latest in instrumentation and design technology, including a machine shop with a five-axis milling machine and advanced microscopy, tissue engineering, and biomechanics facilities. Armstrong houses a wood shop, Hydrology/Water Resources Lab, load frame and prototyping center. Both offer collaborative spaces for students to work closely with our expert faculty.
