"Centennial first-floor men's volleyball team
won the coveted championship trophy, the IM mug,
four years in a row. We weren't great players from all over
campus — we were just guys living on the same floor.
The best thing from that team? The friendships
many of us still have with each other today."
— JIM BUNK '89
"Many of us on the undefeated women's '81 intramural
volleyball team were first-generation college students.
We maneuvered TSC with our unique style and spirit,
including chanting 'We Will Rock You' as we exited
the court. Esprit became our team name. "
— NATALIE WYNN-RODD '81
"I joined intramural rugby my junior year having no idea
how to play. My love for the sport took awhile, but
I formed friendships immediately. My nickname was
Anad (my name spelled backwards) because I had an
alter ego that never liked to follow rules!"
